Catedral Primada
The Primate Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo is a Catholic church and a 13th c. Gothic cathedral. Construction began in 1226, with changes made in the 15th c., and was built with white limestone taken from the nearby quarries at Olihuelas.
Mirador del Valle
The Mirador del Valle is a viewpoint looking across the valley over the River Tagus. From this location, there are stunning views of the city of Toledo. The viewpoint is located across the river, and you can reach it with a walk up the hillside or via the Train Vision, a visitor train that takes you around the city.
Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes
The Monastery of Saint John of the Kings is an Isabelline monastery, built by the Catholic monarchs between 1477 and 1504. The monastery is located in the heart of the Old Town. The cloisters of the monastery have a small garden, perfect to rest while exploring the city.
San Martin Bridge
Saint Martin Bridge is a historic, medieval bridge with five arches spanning the River Tagus. The bridge was built in the 14th c. to give easier access to the Old Town of Toledo. Both sides of the bridge have fortified towers to protect the city.
Puerta de Bisagra
The New Bisagra Gate is one of the best known gates to the city of Toledo. Originally of Moorish origin, the main portion was built in 1559 and it bears the coat of arms of the emperor Charles V. The gate later became the main entrance to the city.
